The Old Melburnians Soccer Club is very excited to announce that we will be launching an 11-a-side football competition for men’s and women’s football teams in the Spring / Summer 2020/21 period, once Covid-19 restrictions have been eased in Melbourne again.

The club will be hosting the competition at Gardiner Park, Glen Iris. It will be a great opportunity to provide competition to football-starved players and coaches from the OMSC and other invited clubs. Depending on ground availability, club and player interest (TBD), the OMSC will be running competitive fixtures several nights a week, plus weekends.

WHAT
• 11-a-side summer football competition.
• 75-minute matches with a 10-game mini-season + finals series.
• Midweek night and weekend day matches.
• Participation costs are $23 per player, per game.

WHEN
• Spring / Summer 2020/21 period, once Covid-19 restrictions have been eased enough in Melbourne.
• Likely to be late Nov / early Dec 2020 to March 2021.
• Kick-off times for midweek nights and weekend days TBA.

WHERE
• Gardiner Park: Carroll Cres, Glen Iris.

WHO
• Current OMSC players.
• Men’s and women’s football teams from invited clubs in State League and Metro League competitions, spread over 2 divisions.
• New players with no current club affiliation are also welcome.

WHY
• To provide competition to football-starved players and coaches.
• Giving local businesses a chance to engage and interact with clubs, officials, supporters, coaches and players.
